Animal Adventure 2021 Starlight Bear

In partnership with Toys”R”Us Canada, Starlight Childrenʼs Foundation Canada is excited to introduce
Tempo, the 13th Anniversary Collectible Starlight Bear, designed by 4-year-old Pearl, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
A brave and kind-hearted young girl, Pearl was diagnosed with cancer at just two years old, where she endured countless chemotherapy sessions, lumbar punctures, blood transfusions, and many other procedures. Through it all, this resilient girl continues to smile and dance!
Tempoʼs name comes from Pearlʼs passion for dance, and the purple embroidered ballet shoes symbolize her favourite colour! The golden eyes, paws, and ears represent childhood cancer.
Inspired by Pearlʼs very own signature pigtails, the matching bows symbolize one of her happiest moments – the day her hair grew back long enough to put those pigtails back in! Proceeds from the sale of Tempo will help Starlight Canada continue to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families, just like Pearlʼs.
